UEFA fines Legia €100K

UEFA has imposed two fines on Polish "Legia" for the behavior of their fans in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals against the English team "Chelsea".

Axar.az reports, citing the official website of the organization, that the Warsaw club will pay 80 thousand euros for the use of fireworks by the fans and 20 thousand euros for unacceptable chants.

"Legia" will play its next two home matches in the European Cups in front of partially closed stands.

Slovenian representative "Sele" suffered a loss of 36 thousand euros. The club's fans used pyrotechnics and threw foreign objects onto the field during the match against the Italian "Fiorentina" in the same round.
