In Paris, French farmers protesting the government's agricultural policy broke through the police barrier and entered the place where President Emmanuel Macron's agricultural exhibition was held.
Axar.az reports that last night hundreds of dissatisfied citizens spent the night in a tent camp built near the building where the exhibition was held. Some farmers came to the French capital with tractors.
According to information, in the morning protesters gathered at the entrance of "Port de Versailles". They whistled and made noise. Later, hundreds of farmers managed to enter the centre by breaching the barrier erected by the law enforcement agencies.
As a result, there was a clash between disgruntled citizens and police officers in the territory of the centre. Law enforcement officers tried to get people who broke into the building out into the street.
Macron was on the second floor of the building at that moment. He wanted to talk to farmers and trade unions. However, only some representatives of the agricultural industry wanted to meet with the head of state. Many farmers were dissatisfied with his presence in the hall and blew the whistle.
