The process of withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from Azerbaijan has begun.

Axar.az reports that the first personnel and military equipment belonging to the peacekeeping contingent are already leaving the territory of Karabakh. Images showing the movement of military equipment belonging to the peacekeepers in Tartar were also released. However, it was not reported in which direction they were moving.

It should be noted that the Russian peacekeepers left the Khudaveng monastery complex located in Kalbajar on April 10. Currently, the Khudaveng monastery is guarded by the Azerbaijani police.
