The construction of Lachin International Airport continues.

Axar.az reports that asphalting works of the roads in the airport area have been started.

It should be noted that the construction of Lachin International Airport, the foundation of which was laid in 2021, is planned to be completed in 2024. The airport runway will be 3,000 meters long and 60 meters wide.

Since Lachin is a mountainous region, the planning of the area is ongoing.

The area of ​​the terminal building of the airport, designed according to international standards, is 5,000 square meters and will be able to serve 200 passengers per hour.
