On May 9, a group of personnel of the Ministry of Defense commemorated those who died in the Second World War.

It was reported that the monument of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Hazi Aslanov was visited twice, wreaths and flowers were placed in front of it. In the commemorative ceremonies held in Baku, the monuments of Mehdi Huseynzade, Richard Zorge, Gafur Mammadov and the "Brotherhood Cemetery" were also visited. In addition, military units held events on the occasion of May 9 - Victory Day.

During the events, the valor of the brave sons of our nation, who performed unparalleled heroism in the Great Patriotic War, was talked about, and their dear memory was commemorated with deep respect and reverence.
