Current US leader Joe Biden compared Trump supporters to garbage, after which Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was seen driving a garbage truck in Wisconsin.
Axar.az informs that TASS reported this.
"What do you think of my garbage truck? It's a tribute to Vice President Kamala Harris and Joe Biden," he told reporters before a campaign rally in Wisconsin.
It’s worth noting that on October 28, during the opening of Trump’s campaign rally in New York, American comedian Tony Hinchcliff made an failed joke, referring to Puerto Rico as the "floating garbage island." The Republican candidate's campaign refuted his remarks.
On October 29, Biden stated that Puerto Ricans are good people, adding that the only "floating garbage" he has seen in that country are Trump supporters.
Later, Biden tried to clarify his comments, stating that by "garbage," he was referring to the comedian's derogatory remarks towards Latin Americans.
Trump supporters highlighted that Biden’s insults towards them were disgusting, pointing out that he labeled half of the US population as "garbage."
