On December 31, the "Group 13" special forces unit, affiliated with the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, for the first time in history, used a "Magura V5" strike naval drone equipped with missile weapons to hit an aerial target.

It was stated that during a battle near Tarkhankut Cape in the temporarily occupied Crimea in the Black Sea, a Russian Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed using "See Dragon" R-73 missiles.

Another Mi-8 helicopter was hit but managed to return to its base.
