The ruined home of Maher al-Assad, the brother of Syria's ousted president Bashar al-Assad, who fled to Moscow with him, has been revealed.

Axar.az reports that a report by "Tv100" channel showed the house in ruins, with family photos of Maher al-Assad's children and relatives scattered on the ground.

The channel’s correspondent Mahir Koç stated that entering the house was exceptionally difficult to arrange:
"Our entry was made possible through special permissions. The house is entirely under the control of the opposition, and no one is allowed to enter."

It should be noted that there have been reports suggesting that Maher al-Assad fled to Iraq, was killed, or captured by HTS after the regime's fall.
