The United Arab Emirates has suspended flights to Sudan.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.

According to Asharq News, this step is most likely related to the tensions between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi. Earlier, Sudan accused the UAE of deploying Colombian mercenaries to fight on the side of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied the accusations.
