A forest fire has broken out in the Mengen district of Turkiye’s Bolu province.

Axar.az reports that the fire started for unknown reasons and quickly spread due to strong winds.

The rocky and steep terrain has significantly hampered firefighting efforts.

Currently, the fire is being tackled both from the air and the ground.
