A fire broke out in a forested area in the Antakya district of Hatay province, Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the cause of the fire is unknown.

The fire is being fought from both land and air.

In addition, a major fire broke out in a forest strip in the Yenishehir district of Bursa province.

The Bursa-Yenishehir highway has been closed to traffic due to the fire.

The fire has spread to a wider area due to the strong wind.

Additional forces have been deployed to extinguish the fire.
