Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in China.

Axar.az reports during the meeting, Sharif expressed support for strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.

He also noted that Pakistan respects the relationship between Russia and India and hopes to establish a similar level of cooperation with Moscow.

Putin invited Sharif to attend the SCO heads of government meeting in Moscow this November.

“We have SCO events planned in Russia in November at the level of heads of government. If you find the time and consider it possible, we would be glad to welcome you in Moscow,” Putin said.
