I believe that the South Caucasus will finally achieve the long-awaited peace.
Axar.az informs Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this while returning from his visit to China, Report informs.
Erdogan noted that the South Caucasus will achieve the peace it desires.
"I saw this hope in the bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The signatures at the White House naturally accelerated the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. Azerbaijan and Armenia have overcome significant obstacles on the path to peace and have reached the final stage," the Turkish President emphasized.
He also highlighted his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan:
"In both meetings, I saw that both Aliyev and Pashinyan are on the same page. They are looking in the same direction. There is no problem or disagreement on the Zangazur corridor issue. The President of Azerbaijan is confident in this matter. Especially that meeting in the US, those talks have played a decisive role in the steps to be taken on this issue."
