Thousands of people are dying. The dead are not Americans, but Russians, Ukrainians, and this is a senseless war that is destroying thousands of lives.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said this in an interview with Fox News.

“If I were president, this war would never have started,” Trump said.

He also expressed his disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s behavior and said he was ready to take steps to save people’s lives:

“We’ll see what happens, but I’m very disappointed in President Putin. I can say that openly, and we’re going to do something to help people live. It’s not about Ukraine, it’s about helping people live. 7,000 people are dying every week, mostly soldiers, but it’s 7,000 people. If I can help stop it, I feel obligated to do it.”
