Estonia’s chargé d’affaires in Moscow, Marek Juhtgi, has been expelled in a reciprocal move.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, this was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“On September 4, Estonia’s chargé d’affaires in Russia, Marek Juhtgi, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The head of the Estonian mission was issued a strong protest in connection with the August 13 declaration of a Russian diplomat in Tallinn as persona non grata without any grounds,” the ministry said.

“Based on the principle of reciprocity, the Russian side stated that a diplomatic staff member of the Estonian embassy in Moscow is being expelled from Russia.”
