An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 was recorded on the eastern coast of Kamchatka.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the information of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

It was reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 125 km northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 40 km.

A tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake.
