4.9 earthquake shakes Kutahya

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 struck the Simav district of Kütahya province in Turkiye.

Axar.az reports the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 12.1 kilometers and was felt in Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, and several other provinces.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
