IAEA inspectors are not in Iran, says Iranian atomic chief

Inspectors of the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA are not currently in Iran.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation Mohammad Eslami, stated this on Wednesday.

International Atomic Energy Agency’s inspectors can visit nuclear sites in Iran only if approved by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Eslami added.

There had been unconfirmed reports in some Iranian media that inspectors were in the country.
