Armenia and Iran intend to create a simplified customs corridor.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

He said that the parties are currently negotiating an agreement, which will be completed in the near future:

“Cooperation with the United States in the field of purchasing equipment for the customs system, as well as the implementation of certain monitoring systems, is also actively developing.”
