The next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkey was held in Baku on October 27.

It was noted that the Azerbaijani delegation at the political consultations was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, and the Turkish delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ayshe Berris Ekinci.
It was noted that earlier, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ayshe Berris Ekinci. During the meeting, issues arising from the Azerbaijan-Turkiye alliance, as well as regional and international security issues, were discussed.
It was stated that the historic Shusha Declaration, which established the alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, is the embodiment of the existing brotherly and friendly relations. With the instructions of the leaders, our multidimensional alliance relations are being strengthened in political, security, economic, trade, energy, transport, communications, cultural-humanitarian, etc. The importance of activities aimed at further strengthening cooperation in all aspects was emphasized.
It was emphasized that the joint efforts of Azerbaijan and Turkiye in all international organizations, especially in the Organization of Turkic States, which is considered a family, are commendable, and confidence was expressed that the summit held in Gabala this year would serve to further strengthen the organization.
J.Bayramov informed the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkiye in detail about the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and its various aspects, and the issues arising from the Washington summit.
They exchanged views on the current efforts in the Middle East, the Gaza Strip, Syria, and African countries, as well as other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
