Iraq and Turkiye sign water deal

A cooperation agreement on water resources has been signed between Iraq and Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Sudani.

He said that the document proposes a sustainable solution to the water crisis and strengthens relations between the countries.

It should be noted that the signing took place during the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Baghdad. He discussed with his Iraqi counterpart the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, transport, security, and water resources.
