Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes Kamchatka

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck the south-east coast of Russia’s Kamchatka region on Monday.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters, the United States Geological Survey said that he quake was at a depth of 24 km (14.91 miles).

GFZ had earlier pegged the earthquake at 6.4 magnitude.
