UN removes Syrian President from terrorist list

The United Nations (UN) has removed the name of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa from its terrorist list.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this.

Fidan considered the removal of Ahmed al-Sharaa from the UN terrorist list as an important step and expressed his gratitude to the UN for this.

“This was of great importance for Syria's economic well-being and regional stability,” the minister added.
