Israel and Lebanon expected to hold direct talks

Israeli and Lebanese representatives are expected to meet for a round of talks in the coming days, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Saturday.

Axar.az informs acording to publication, the United States is also involved in the initiative, with Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, leading the effort on Washington's behalf.

The talks could take place in Cyprus or Paris, Haaretz said.
