Turkiye an ideal mediator in the Russia-Ukraine talks

Turkiye could be the ideal mediator between Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ömer Çelik, a spokesman for Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), in a statement to journalists.

"Because a state that can talk to one side cannot talk to the other. Turkiye's position is specific. Our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the only leader who can talk to both the leaders of Russia and Ukraine," he said.
