Erdogan, Macron discuss bilateral ties and global issues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Axar.az informs that TRT Haber reported on this.

According to the report, bilateral relations between Turkiye and France, the Ukraine-Russia war, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed during the conversation:

“During the conversation, Erdogan stressed the importance of developing cooperation between Turkiye and France and that they will continue to take steps to achieve this goal.”

The Turkish leader noted that Ankara is doing its best to end the war between Ukraine and Russia with a just and lasting peace.

At the same time, the latest situation in the Caucasus, the Gaza Strip, and Syria was also discussed.

The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the French side.
