Fidan meets Hamas officials to discuss Gaza ceasefire

Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met in Ankara with members of Hamas’s Political Bureau who are visiting the country.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by Turkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the statement, the meeting focused on the ceasefire in Gaza and the transition to the second phase of the agreement. Hamas representatives said they had fulfilled their obligations under the ceasefire, but that Israel’s strikes on Gaza were preventing the move to the next stage of the deal.
