Bad weather disrupts flights at Almaty airport

Almaty International Airport has warned passengers about flight delays and cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.

Axar.az reports, citing Kazakhstan’s Khabar agency, that difficult meteorological conditions are currently being observed in the city.

“The airport and all relevant services are operating in an enhanced mode to ensure flight safety and are taking all necessary measures. Current flight status: 11 arriving flights have been delayed and one has been canceled, while four departing flights have been delayed,” the airport’s press service said.
