Protests against war and rising costs held across Italy

Protests have been held in several Italian cities against government policies, high fuel prices, inflation and the war economy.

Axar.az reports, citing Italian media, that incidents and clashes with police were recorded in Turin, Bologna and Florence.

Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse protesters. A total of 43 people were detained after dangerous objects were found in their possession.

It should be noted that riots had previously broken out during a demonstration in Milan.
