LPG prices surge again in Armenia

According to Armenian social network users, the price of liquefied natural gas (LPG) has risen sharply again in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the price of a liter of liquefied natural gas has risen from 200 drams to 280 drams at some gas stations.

Several main factors influenced the price increase: increased dependence on liquefied natural gas imports, increased transport and logistics costs, and instability of supply in the domestic market.

It should be noted that liquefied natural gas is one of the most widely used types of fuel in Armenia, mainly for taxis and private cars. Against the background of a sharp increase in prices, it is not excluded that the daily expenses of the population will increase and social discontent will deepen.
