Macron discusses Syria tensions with President al-Sharaa

I spoke this morning with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa and expressed my concern about the tensions in Syria.

Axar.az reports that this was written by French President Emmanuel Macron on his X page.

“To preserve Syria’s unity and stability, there is a need for an agreement on a lasting ceasefire and the integration of the SDF into the Syrian state,” Macron said.

It should be noted that the Syrian army is conducting military operations against the SDF and has already retaken many areas from the group.
