Europe will not be blackmailed, says German vice chancellor

Europeans will not allow themselves to be blackmailed.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil.

“It is absolutely clear that we will not follow Trump’s path. We will not allow ourselves to be blackmailed or provoked—neither by tariffs nor by words. Europeans need to give a united and clear response to the United States. Everyone in the U.S. must now understand: Europeans will not accept this,” Klingbeil said.

It should be noted that U.S. President Donald Trump announced that, starting February 1, a 10% tariff would be imposed on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, and the Netherlands over Greenland.
