Syria government, SDF reach agreement

An agreement has been reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Axar.az reports, citing the SANA news agency.

Under the agreement, control of border crossing points and oil fields will be transferred to the Syrian government.

The details of the agreement are as follows:

- A comprehensive and immediate ceasefire will be declared on all fronts and contact lines between Syrian government forces and the YPG/SDF.

- All members of the organization will withdraw to the east of the Euphrates River.

- The Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa provinces will be immediately and fully handed over to the Syrian government administratively and militarily.

- All energy resources and border crossing points will come under state control. As part of the agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF, all non-Syrian members of the PKK terrorist organization will be deported.

- Following necessary security checks, forces affiliated with the SDF will be integrated into the Syrian Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior as part of the agreement.
