Ukraine to receive new energy aid from Azerbaijan

Ukraine will receive new energy aid from its partners in the coming days.

Axar.az reports that Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko announced this on her Telegram channel.

She stated that in the coming days, the country will receive the next round of aid from Azerbaijan, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic:

“Azerbaijan’s aid includes generators, transformers, cables, medical equipment, and other humanitarian support. This assistance plays a key role in restoring Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after destructive attacks.”

Sviridenko emphasized that with the support of international partners, including Azerbaijan, it is possible to quickly restore heating and electricity in Ukrainian homes.

“Ireland will send €25 million to Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund next week,” she added.

It is noted that today, following Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv, thousands of buildings in the Ukrainian capital were left without heat and electricity.
