A shocking statement from the United States: “Our alliance with the SDF has ended. Our new ally in Syria is HTS, and the SDF must integrate into the country’s legitimate institutions within four days.” This statement, voiced by US Ambassador to Turkiye Tom Barrack, is not without reason. According to the Donald Trump administration, globalist forces that support separatism in many regions of the world—such as social aid organizations and major media outlets—have also used wars as a tool of corruption, pushing the US into debt. As a result of this policy, the United States has squandered $7–8 trillion in Afghanistan and the Middle East alone over the past 25 years since 2001.
Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by political analyst Heydar Oghuz.
He recalled that the US total foreign debt stands at $38 trillion, while its GDP is $30 trillion:
“In other words, even the entire GDP cannot fully cover the debt, leaving an $8 trillion shortfall. This unusual imbalance between GDP and foreign debt is forcing Washington to take certain steps. The least problematic step is to stop financing separatist forces and leave regional security to its regional allies.
The US abandoning the PKK is of great importance not only for Syria, but also for Turkiye, Iraq, and Iran. After Washington’s decision, PJAK—deployed in Iran’s West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province and used like shackles on our southern brothers—will also be left without support. This will remove the greatest concern of South Azerbaijani Turks.”
