Russia launches massive attack on Ukraine

Last night, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukrainian regions, using more than 370 strike drones and 21 missiles.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about the attack on his Telegram channel.

According to him, Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions, were targeted. In Kharkiv, a maternity hospital, a dormitory housing internally displaced persons, a medical college, and residential buildings were damaged.

“According to available information, dozens of people have been injured, including children. In the capital and the regions, Russia’s primary targets were energy facilities. Unfortunately, the attack claimed one life. I express my condolences to the family and loved ones,” Zelensky said, adding that all necessary emergency services are working at the affected sites to deal with the consequences.

Zelensky emphasized that the strike on energy infrastructure once again proves the urgent need to accelerate the delivery of air defense systems, including Patriot, NASAMS, and other missile defense complexes.
