Zelensky says 55,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed on battlefield

Around 55,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday.

Axar.az informs, citing France 24, “In Ukraine, officially the number of soldiers killed on the battlefield - either professionals or those conscripted - is 55,000,” said Zelensky, in a pre-recorded interview that was broadcast on Wednesday.
