Mirziyoyev congratulates Aliyev and Pashinyan

A priceless blessing like peace does not arise by itself. Peace requires courage, the ability to listen to others and find ways to compromise even in the most difficult circumstances, and to take responsibility for the decisions made.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoye,v in his congratulatory video address to the laureates of the "Zayed Human Fraternity Award".

"It is a great honor for me to sincerely congratulate the laureates of the Sheikh Zayed 'Human Fraternity Award' - His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and His Excellency Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia," Mirziyoyev said.

He noted that the joint efforts of these political leaders for the sake of a rational resolution of the protracted conflict and achieving peace undoubtedly deserve this prestigious award:

"The agreement reached is a vivid example of a responsible approach to resolving the problem and a historic step taken towards ensuring stability in our entire region."
