Axar.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei during a weekly press conference on Monday.

“Just look at our record. Were we the ones who marched troops into the United States? Were we the ones who traveled thousands of miles away and killed 170 innocent people in a single day?” Baghaei said.

“Were we the ones attacking other countries, targeting their infrastructure, or assassinating their leaders? Are we the ones bullying countries like Cuba and Venezuela in the Western Hemisphere?” he noted.
