Lavrov: Russian companies pushed out of Venezuela

Russian companies are being openly pushed out of Venezuela following U.S. operations in the country.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RT on Diplomat’s Day.

“And right now, following events in Venezuela, our companies are being openly pushed out of Venezuela,” the minister said.

Moscow was surprised that Washington imposed sanctions on Russian companies Lukoil and Rosneft after the talks in Anchorage: “We parted ways in Anchorage with the understanding that Russia supported the U.S. proposal to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

“Everyone is forbidden from buying both oil and gas. And everywhere it is said: Russian oil and Russian gas will be replaced by American oil and American liquefied natural gas.”
