Iran denies reports of Supreme Leader in Russia

Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, has denied reports that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is in Russia for medical treatment.

Axar.az reports that Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, said in a post on X that "the news about transferring the Supreme Leader to Russia for treatment is a new psychological war."

"Iranian leaders do not need to flee or hide in shelters. Their place is in the streets among the people,” he wrote.
