Azerbaijan facilitates evacuation of foreign nationals

The evacuation of foreign nationals from Iran via the "Astara" state border checkpoint continues.

Axar.az informs between 10:00 and 12:00 local time, 9 Chinese and 6 Indian citizens were evacuated.

Between 00:00 and 10:00 local time, an Azerbaijani citizen and three Norwegian diplomatic representatives were evacuated from Iran.

The evacuation process was conducted following the completion of relevant document checks, and other necessary procedures at the border crossing to ensure a secure transition.
