Iran says Strait of Hormuz no longer safe for transit

From this point forward, due to the interventions by them (the United States and Israel), the strait can no longer operate as it once did, either legally or in terms of transit.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, that Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made the remarks.

“It (the Strait) no longer has the necessary level of safety. Its required security has been undermined,” Ghalibaf said.
