CENTCOM says US intercepts Iranian missiles in Kuwait

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said American forces intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at a U.S. base in Kuwait during an overnight attack.

Axar.az reports that CENTCOM made a statement on its X account.

“Last night at 11 p.m. ET, U.S. forces successfully intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles targeting American forces based in Kuwait. These missiles were immediately defeated, and no American personnel were harmed,” CENTCOM said in a statement on X.

The command confirmed that no damage or casualties occurred among U.S. forces.
