Russia strikes Ukrnafta, Naftogaz facilities in Ukraine

The Russian military has struck Ukrnafta gas stations in three Ukrainian regions and production facilities of Naftogaz Group in the Poltava region.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Management Board of Naftogaz Ukraine, announced this.

“The enemy attacked filling station complexes and production assets of Naftogaz Group. Several Ukrnafta gas stations in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under fire at once,” Koretsky said.

He said that during one of the Shahed drone attacks, a female gas station employee was seriously injured and hospitalized in critical condition.

“The station itself suspended operations due to the destruction,” Koretsky noted.

He added that Russian drones also targeted Naftogaz Group production facilities in the Poltava region overnight and in the morning, causing significant damage to gas production and storage facilities. Operations at some facilities have been suspended.

“Thanks to the prompt actions of the State Emergency Service rescuers and specialists of Naftogaz Group, a fire at one of the facilities was quickly extinguished. None of the personnel or rescuers was injured. An assessment of the scale of destruction is underway,” Koretsky said.
