The presentation and handover ceremony for the first Airbus A321neo aircraft to join AZAL’s fleet is currently underway in Hamburg, Germany.

Axar.az reports, citing Tеleqraf, that the event is being jointly organized by Airbus, AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines), and AerCap.

The ceremony is attended by senior executives from Azerbaijan Airlines and Airbus, representatives of AerCap, and journalists from several countries.

During the event, participants were introduced to the aircraft’s technical features and operational capabilities. The aircraft is expected to be officially handed over to Azerbaijan’s national carrier as part of the ceremony.

The Airbus A321neo is among the most advanced passenger aircraft in service today, offering next-generation engines, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced passenger comfort.

The new aircraft is expected to play a key role in the modernization of AZAL’s fleet and support the expansion of its international route network.
