Alpha unit targets S-400 and Pantsir systems in Crimea

Soldiers from the SSU's Center of Special Operations “Alpha” carried out successful strikes against Russian troops’ air defense systems in the Kerch Strait area, as well as against infrastructure at the Saky and Hvardiiske military airfields in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrinform, preliminary data indicate that, as a result of the special operation at the Saky Airfield, four hangars used to store aircraft were destroyed.

Near Kerch, two weapons systems from an S-400 air defense missile system were destroyed, as well as two Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun systems. This is already the fourth Pantsir-S1 system destroyed by the Center of Special Operations “Alpha” in this area.

"The Russian occupiers are losing control of Crimea’s airspace. Every destroyed air defense system and every military airfield hit opens up new opportunities for Ukraine to launch further strikes against the enemy’s military infrastructure. The SSU will continue to methodically turn Crimea into a territory of constant losses for the Russian army until it leaves the Ukrainian peninsula,” the security service emphasized.
