Ethnic Azerbaijani appointed US military attaché to Pakistan

Naeimi Amiral, an ethnic Azerbaijani originally from Nehram village in the Babek district of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and currently residing in the United States, has been appointed as the U.S. military attaché to Pakistan.

Axar.az reports that the information was shared on social media by his friend, Elnur Elturk.

Prior to this appointment, Amiral served as head of the foreign relations department of the United States Fifth Fleet.
