Pakistani PM says he will visit Iran next week

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Iran next week.

Axar.az reports, citing Xinhua, that Sharif said at a joint press conference with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday that the visit is intended to pay his respects to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and reaffirm Pakistan's solidarity with Iran.

The Iranian president arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday for an official visit to discuss the ongoing diplomatic efforts following the signing of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding.
