Sevastopol left without electricity after drone attack

The city of Sevastopol was left without electricity following Ukrainian attacks on June 24.

Axar.az reports that Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Moscow-appointed governor of Sevastopol, said the main target of the attack was the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant, the peninsula's largest electricity supplier.

“As a result of the enemy's attack on our energy infrastructure, the city was temporarily left without power,” he said.

Crimean Telegram channels reported that, in addition to Sevastopol, the cities of Bakhchysarai and Kerch, as well as Ai-Petri, where a Russian Aerospace Forces radar station is located, were also targeted.

Repоrts also indicated that a power plant in Simferopol had been struck.
